Conservation and Wild Spaces
The Association protects over 13,000 acres of wetland reserves and wild spaces in Kent and further afield. Much of this land carries high environmental designation, including SSSI and SPA status.

Site managers oversee the Association’s reserves, with regular monitoring for birds, mammals, reptiles, fish and other species. Conservation work includes habitat management, refuge areas and long-term land preservation through Wild Spaces Fund.
Wild Spaces Fund is the conservation and land preservation arm of the KWCA and is a UK registered charity.
