Air Rifle Sections
The KWCA offers Air Rifle Hunting and Air Rifle Target sections, introduced to make responsible use of the Association’s extensive land portfolio and to provide practical range facilities.
Air Rifle Hunting
The hunting section offers members the opportunity to help control vermin with sub-12 ft lb air rifles across selected venues, including stalking rabbits and roosting woodpigeons.
Air Rifle Target
The target range is set in secluded surroundings at Wainscott near Rochester and opens fortnightly on Sundays, 9am to 2pm. The range is restricted to air rifles not exceeding the 12 ft lb limit.
Junior members must be accompanied by a member over the age of 21.
Air rifle section information
The Air Rifle Target range provides facilities for zeroing, informal practice and realistic field targets. The Air Rifle Hunting section gives members an opportunity to support vermin control on selected KWCA land, subject to membership, rules and permissions.
Members should follow current Association rules, range instructions and legal requirements whenever taking part in air rifle activity.
